Experience is the best teacher.
It's much easier to negotiate the jog in the tracks over a length of seven feet than only three feet as in the post before this one. I have to decide whether to use curved or straight fascia. For the record the following video shows things before I made these changes:
And, this is the track plan I favor today - except that I expect to add as many more industrial sidings as can be smoothly incorporated in an operating model railroad.

This could be finished soon.
I have drawn Will's free-form free-mo modules as best as I can. Allowing for that and other liberties, this could be ready to run trains and begin scenicking and adding structures pretty soon - especially if John is able to finish his super-tanker. We will find a way to display it, as it is going to be great.
