This might make it easier to visualize.  The details of the upper-level track are very much up in the air.  (Word play for John Hunt)  However, I bought half-inch plywood for  the roadbed yesterday.

Here is yet another version - probably the last before I cut the roadbed:

The high-level track should be in the center, the low-level track near the edge.

All graded track is on the left-hand (mountain division) table.

Today we cut birch plywood for free-mo N module frames.  I have enough for four 24" by 48" modules, which makes up the central portion of the following layout:

Below I have added some photos of the above venues from Bing maps.

And, Mark, John, Will, and Lance set me up with an old HO table that they were going to cut up and put in the dumpster.  Parts from the old Rock Springs set on it at the end of the day.  What will become of them?  Stay tuned!

These Winrail drawings give a rough idea of a Free-MoN system  of modules for a large petroleum refinery model.  The main module is only 24" wide.

I have added a few roads as consistently as possible with the roads on the ground as revealed by Google Earth.

I am still editing the central module track plan I really plan to build.

Here is a simplified track plan.  The cream colored area represents the easement that is kept free of refinery incursion to accommodate the  railroad's  expansion to a four -track main line with a double-track branch line.

And, here is a closer look at the central Free-MoN module:

And, just in case anyone wonders if this track plan is realistic, here is the track plan on the ground near the Intercontinental Terminal Company's tanker port that provided part of the prototype of this railroad:

New Track Plan and New Nikon CoolPix S3500 (with panorama assist)

In these new attempts to blend Google Earth, Winrail 11.0, and Paint.NET I have taken all snapshots of Google Earth at 2955 feet elevation and pasted into Winrail at 19 zoom.

Here are a few new photos of the tanker loading platform on the Parker Module taken with the Nikon Coolpix including one of my initial attempts to make a panorama photo.  I have been considering re-doing the extremely messy parts.  I'm afraid my super gluing is affected too much by the age of my hand.
